The base pay for this position ranges from $75,000 - $85,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 10% of an employee’s annual base salary. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience. What You'll Do
- Regional responsibility of strategic sourcing of indirect goods and services: professional services, facility- and real estate services including property/equipment rental/leasing, IT, Marketing, MRO etc.
- Responsible for the execution of the regional/global indirect sourcing strategy in line with the global strategy
- Partner with internal customers to identify and understand current and future business needs
- Ensure and lead the global procurement process of competitive bidding (RFI, RFP)
- Lead assigned vendor negotiations and contracting
- Identification and realization of cost reduction potentials for sustainable cost management
- Ongoing analysis and assessment of the procurement markets and development of supplier relationships
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or similar
- Minimum 5 years indirect sourcing experience within an international business environment and matrix organization
- Sound knowledge of sourcing processes (RFx) and leading contract negotiations
- Strong project – and change management experience
- Experience working independently, taking on responsibility for procurement strategies across all levels of assigned organization
- Sourcing category experience in IT, MRO, Property Maintenance, Real Estate, Marketing and Professional Services.
- Readiness to travel (ca. 10%)
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal communication and networking skills.
- Must be a fact-based decision maker, pragmatic, resourceful, and proactive.
