Belgrove Rehab and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Evening Supervisor to provide strong leadership and ensure the highest quality of care for our residents. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN with supervisory experience to grow in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Director and Associate Director of Nursing in planning, developing, and overseeing daily nursing operations in compliance with facility policies and state/federal regulations.
Ensure nursing staff fulfill their responsibilities and deliver excellent resident care.
Participate in facility surveys/inspections as required by administration.
Contribute to the development, review, and implementation of resident care and discharge plans.
Ensure proper staffing levels on each shift to maintain high-quality standards.
Conduct regular rounds to monitor performance, providing feedback and reporting to leadership.
Review and escalate staff complaints/grievances appropriately.
Welcome new residents, escort them to their rooms, and provide support during admission.
Accompany physicians on rounds as necessary.
Oversee medication administration and treatments, ensuring compliance with physician orders and schedules.
Provide direct nursing care when needed.
Assist with comprehensive nursing assessments.
Participate in performance evaluations for LPNs and CNAs.
Qualifications
Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
Current and valid RN license.
Minimum of 3 years direct care experience in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric settings.
At least 1 year of nursing management experience.
Current CPR certification.
