We are looking for a candidate with previous quality control experience from a machine shop, someone who can maintain flexibility and help out occasionally running machines, lending a hand in shipping, etc.
Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This role involves conducting inspections, performing audits, and utilizing various precision measuring instruments to maintain the integrity of our manufacturing processes. The Quality Assurance Inspector will play a crucial role in upholding our commitment to quality management and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and CGMP standards.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines to perform accurate measurements.
- Implement and monitor HACCP protocols to ensure food safety standards are met in applicable manufacturing processes.
- Perform quality audits and assist in the development of quality systems that align with FDA regulations.
- Analyze data collected during inspections and audits to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, findings, and corrective actions taken to support compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in training sessions related to quality assurance practices and promote a culture of quality within the organization.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, HACCP, CGMP, and FDA regulations is essential.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively and make informed decisions.
- Experience with quality inspection tools including vision inspection systems and coordinate measuring machines is highly desirable.
- Proficient in using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments for accurate assessments.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
