The Dispensary Supervisor acts as a back-up for the General Manager within the dispensary. This requires complete redundancy in the dispensary responsibilities. The Dispensary Supervisor is the person in charge when the General Manager is not at the dispensary and should have a working knowledge of most if not all parts of the General Manager’s role.

The Dispensary Supervisor is the person in charge when the General Manager is not at the dispensary and should have a working knowledge of most if not all parts of the General Manager’s role.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Back up all employees (except all accounting functions) when there is a vacancy, sick leave, or vacation.
- Fill in for the GM when they are not on site.
- Provide checks and balance with the GM as well as other positions within the dispensary.
- Learn all daily operations requirements.
- Assist in training of new hires within the dispensary environment and workflows.
- Stay abreast of all rules and regulations and changes to the program through Missouri DCR
- Develop knowledge of diversion tactics, inventory control, and compliance.
- Provide excellent service for all customers.
- Assess individual customer needs by asking questions regarding their medical conditions and symptoms, carefully listening to their individual responses, and further clarifying as needed to determine the type of alternative care that may be appropriate.
- Understand HIPPA compliance and keep all customer information confidential.
- Process individual transactions with accuracy.
- Communicate with sensitivity and respect for customers, staff, and visitors.
- Perform opening and closing procedures as directed.
- Ensure departmental and dispensary compliance to state and local law.
- Ensure accuracy of assigned cash register.
- Have complete knowledge of the seed-to-sale software and adhere to individual purchase limit.
- Communicate regularly with the General Manager to satisfy inventory needs and patient feedback.
- Maintain overall appearance, organization and cleanliness of the dispensary and your assigned work area.
- Attend daily pre-shift meetings.
- Maintain compliant and accurate inventory counts.
- Be an ambassador for the company while at work.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- The ability to sit or stand for long periods of time (4 hours).
- The ability to bend, squat, and reach overhead.
- The ability to lift up to 30 pounds at one time
- $21.00 , commensurate with experience.
