Utility Person Opportunity Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Utility Person, Facilities and Janitorial. You are responsible for maintaining and repairing building fixtures including lights, locks, doors, windows, door screens, flooring material, gutters, and drains. This position will take care of maintenance duties involving carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs to guarantee that the building and exterior grounds are properly and safely maintained.

Job Duties

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently and that the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs to ensure that the building is properly maintained.
• Clean and repair building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters, and drains.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Work Experience & Qualifications

• Our ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3-5 years of directly related building or property maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of general maintenance requirements (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
