Job Summary
The Wellness Manager reports to the Director of Wellness at Dutchfield (parent company) and owns day-to-day operational excellence at Belden House ? accurate scheduling, payroll, procurement, and service delivery across spa, fitness, and wellness programming. This is a hands-on operator role: the ideal candidate brings strong spa and hospitality experience, moves fast, and can be trusted to run the systems and processes that keep the business running cleanly. The Wellness Manager also supports the Director of Wellness with strategic program development, working together to grow revenue and elevate the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Belden Bathhouse Operations
- Oversee daily operations of spa, studio, and wellness programs, ensuring efficiency and excellence.
- Oversee scheduling and payroll for all bathhouse personnel and wellness practitioners
- Oversee procurement of wellness operating supplies and equipment
- Support retail strategy and manage bathhouse inventory, procurement, and restocking
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and ambiance in all wellness areas.
- Work with therapists, trainers, and wellness practitioners to ensure adherence to our service protocols
- Ensure that all wellness services align with Belden House & Mews, Wildsmith, and partner brand protocols and brand guidelines, and our member and guest expectations.
- Utilize Book4Time scheduling software, Paychex for payroll, and Opera for reconciling all revenue and posting into the guest and member folios
Guest Experience & Engagement
- Support Director of Wellness and marketing, front-desk, and operational teams on delivering an exceptional guest arrival experience and stay, driving awareness of our wellness offerings and bookings with our programming and spa services
- Ensure exceptional service standards, providing a seamless luxury experience for guests.
Revenue Generation & Business Development
- Support Director of Wellness in designing and launching revenue-generating wellness programs ? facilitator partnerships, fitness and holistic health offerings, spa protocols, and pricing ? backed by market research and outreach
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote wellness offerings
- Support with reporting and optimization of pricing strategies
Team Leadership & Training
- Support Director of Wellness in recruiting, training, and managing a team of wellness professionals, including spa therapists, fitness instructors, and wellness facilitators
- Foster a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and innovation.
- Drive awareness of wellness programs across Belden departments, especially F&B, reception, reservations, and sales & marketing teams
- Support annual Wildsmith training sessions and brand partner trainings on an as-needed basis to enhance team skills and guest service delivery.
