Applications are being accepted for a Temporary (part-time, 18 hours per week), Assistant Food Service Director on SchoolSpring and Indeed. Purpose Statement: Provide assistance in the administration of our child nutrition program in accordance with district, local, state & federal policies and regulations, to ensure nutrition and financial integrity of the program.Job Requirements & QualificationsMinimum of high school diploma or equivalent, associates degree in related field preferred, minimum of 3 years experience in similar position.Knowledge/Experience in how to use and or file the following: Virtual Gateway, Direct Certification Process, Verification Process, Accuclaim checks and report, processing Free & Reduced Lunch Applications, Quarterly Profit & Loss Reports to DESE, End of Year Report to DESE, Process on the use of commodity food & DOD Fresh. Must be familiar with regulations from USDA & MA DESE for school food service operations. How to place orders for food, produce, supplies, do returns & apply for credits using vendors that have won bids, Process bank deposits.
Salary : $41,018 - $49,950
