JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Work within an integrated product team assisting in the design and development of RF and microwave systems.
* Lead the design of high-performance RF circuitry within 12 months.
* Write system and sub-system requirements for non-complex RF/MW systems and derive requirements independently within 18 months.
* Support the creation of technical proposals, status reports, whitepapers, and other technical documentation within 4 months.
* Contribute to process improvements and system efficiency within the engineering team.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product development aligns with project goals and timelines.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Associate"s or Bachelor"s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Electrical Engineering Technology (EET), or related field.
* 2-6 years of RF and microwave circuit design experience.
* Strong technical writing skills for proposals, reports, and documentation.
* Ability to learn and contribute to system-level product development.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:
* Knowledge of RF/MW circuits including power amplifiers, RF upconverters and downconverters, RF filters, and low-noise amplifiers.
* Experience in RF system and sub-system design.
* Familiarity with engineering development processes and quality standards.
* Ability to work within product development teams and meet project milestones.
PREFERRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience supporting DoD or defense-related projects.
* Exposure to integrated RF/MW system design.
* Ability to contribute to process improvement initiatives and system efficiency.
