Job Title : HR Specialist
Location : Kent, WA 98032
Duration : 6 Months
Shift : 1st - 6am/6:30am start - 40-hour work week (Mon-Fri)
Pay rate : $28/HR On W2 (No Benefits)
Job Description:
Generalist support for Human Resources department.
Responsibilities:
Recruiting- Conduct resume searches, reviews, and applicant screening.
Schedule interviews, coordinate calendars, and create interview itineraries.
Administer candidate testing and assessments. Facilitate intake meetings for new job openings.
Train managers on resume review and Peoplesoft processes (if applicable).
Update interview questions and job assessments as needed.
Onboarding- Schedule new hires" first day and coordinate pre-hire activities with team leaders.
Prepare Day One packets, swag bags, badges, and photos.
Distribute New Hire Announcements and onboarding surveys.
Update evacuation procedures, urgent notification lists, and global compliance/testing requirements.
Coordinate wellness waivers and send relevant compliance tests to Export Administrator.
Maintain internal directories and AAG phone book.
General Administration- Perform departmental filing and I-9 audits.
Assist with presentations, reports, and HR leader's schedule management.
Coordinate onsite events and special HR activities.
Support HR team with day-to-day operations and administrative tasks.
Education and Experience:
US Citizenship, GED/HS Diploma
2-5 years HR exp, talent acquisition a plus
Experience recruiting (manufacturing industry would be great) is a MUST.
Using MS Office, Outlook, Excel, Power Point a must
Good communication skills
