Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Set up the molding machine to form cheese. Adjust machine during production to maximize productivity and product quality (Proper cheese weight, shape, and texture, etc...).
- Start conveyors and other equipment associated with the molding machine.
- Run machine during production, and make adjustments when needed.
- Pull cheese samples for quality testing.
- Record weight of cheese and average throughout the day.
- Maintain a clean working area during production.
- Work closely with vat operator to ensure a constant product flow to the molding machine.
- Good fine motor skills needed.
- Must be able to bend, twist, reach, kneel, and crouch.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 30 lb.
- Comply with all quality, safety, and work-rule requirements.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
- Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices as stated within the policy
- Follows all Safety rules & procedures by working safely and ensuring safety of others
- Follows all food safety procedures
- Follows all environmental protocols as applicable
- Follows all sanitation procedures and work instructions
- Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
