What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Team Leader (On-Site) position at Bel Fuse Inc?
Position Summary:
We are looking for hands-on Production Team Lead, who will motivate and support a team to achieve safety, quality and production goals while driving continuous improvement.
Are You Looking To:
- Provide on-going training to employees in a designated work cell and assign proper training to new team members.
- Provide leadership to employees by maintaining high quality standards.
- Support strategic direction and specific projects as directed by Supervisor.
Are You Ready To:
- Apply job knowledge and skills to improve productivity, quality and timeliness, and to solve problems, using good judgment.
- Implement new technologies or methods.
- Implement ISO and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
- Operate equipment and use tools and techniques effectively, efficiently and in accordance with cutting edge shop techniques and appropriate ergonomic principles.
What You’ll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum three years’ experience in manufacturing setting.
- Prior leadership experience preferred.
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Bilingual -English and Spanish.
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
