In this position, you’ll be an integral part of our field operations, providing essential support across a wide range of construction, mechanical, and industrial projects. Expect a dynamic work environment where flexibility is important, as your role may involve extensive travel, out-of-town assignments, and a schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and sometimes night shifts.
What You'll Do:
- Perform concrete work, rebar, masonry, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, rigging, excavation, ditching, trenching, and general labor as required
- Perform structural steel installation
- Operate basic machinery such as a man-lift, scissor lift, fork-lift, etc.
- Align machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, plumb bobs, etc.
- Assemble machinery and bolts, welds, rivets, or otherwise fasten them to foundation or other structures
Working Conditions
- Sit, talk, hear, read, and write
- Regularly walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms
- Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Perform duties on-site and underground at industrial locations
- Work in extreme temperature conditions and environments
- Perform work at a variety of heights
- 2 years of relevant mechanical, construction, pipe insulation, or solar installation experience preferred
- Possesses a mechanical aptitude with prior experience in commercial/industrial mechanical fields
- Proficient in setting bearings, performing alignments, setting structural steel, etc. preferred
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Proficient with using basic hand tools
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
