Beitzel Corporation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical and HVAC/R Estimator to join our growing team. In this role, youll be responsible for developing accurate and competitive estimates for installation, maintenance, and repair work across commercial, residential, and industrial settings. Your work will directly support our Electrical and HVAC/R Group, playing a key role in helping us win projects and deliver exceptional value to our clients.

Youll work closely with project managers, vendors, and our field teams to gather information, price jobs, and offer solutions that meet both client expectations and company goals. A strong understanding of electrical and HVAC/R systems is essential, as is familiarity with industry codes, products, and practices. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where attention to detail, strong communication, and problem-solving skills are critical.

## What You'll Do

• Assist with the estimation and implementation of customer projects and initiatives
• Utilize computer-based software for enhanced and improved estimating
• Read prints and designs to develop bill of materials and project take-offs
• Travel to customer sites as needed to collect information relevant to project bid efforts
• Attend bid meetings and assist with the quoting and bidding effort for electrical and HVAC/R projects of all sizes
• Facilitate a comprehensive and structured handoff meeting with the assigned Project manager upon award of each project
• Assist with project plans, timelines, material, and labor requirements
• Cultivate relationships with vendors with an emphasis on increasing efficiencies and reducing costs

## What You'll Bring

• 1 year of electrical experience and/or electrical field experience is preferred
• 1 year of HVAC/R experience or trade school equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in electrical or HVAC/R estimating preferred
• Aptitude to learn new skills quickly
• Experience in a variety of electrical and HVAC/R fields (i.e. Industrial, Commercial, Residential) preferred
• Possess a strong understanding of electrical material and projects preferred
• Possess a strong understanding of HVAC/R equipment and understanding of all refrigerants and requirements
