What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Operator, 1st Shift position at Behr Process Corporation?
To thrive as a Warehouse EquipmentOperator,you must have a commitment tosafety.You willsafelyoperatewarehouse equipment withinourdistribution centertoload and unloadproductsfrom inbound and outbound trailersorto stock androtate inventory.
Each day,youwilloperateasit-downforkliftwith a slip-sheet attachment, reach truck (up to 35 feet),ora rider jacktoload and unload productfromthe dockor to restock and rotatedated product.Ascanner gun or wandwill be usedtocheck shipments,identifyerrors or defects, and record any discrepancies.Youwillbe responsible forrotatingitemsby stock number and placingthemonthe correctshelf and in the correctaisle.In addition,routine quality inspectionswill be performedon inventorytoreport onanypossibledamage, shortages, or errors.Some heavy lifting is alsorequiredfor this role.

A commitment to safety. We arevery proudof our safety record and want you to be a part of that.You willbe requiredto wear proper safety equipment, including steel-toed shoes and safety glasses.
Attendtraining.Youwon'tbe able tooperatewarehouse equipment until you are fully trained. You will begin withsafety training and other equipmenttraining.
Attention to detail.You will need to closelymonitorstock numbers,identifydefects in inventory, and be mindful of your surroundings when moving products.
Diploma or GED. A high school diploma orGEDisrequired.
Knowledge of basic mathisrequired.
Someexperienceoperatingasit-downforklift, reach truck,or rider jack ispreferred.
Here'swhat we offer you:
Warehouse Equipment Operatorsstart atxxx/hr. Team members will receive a $1/hrincrease at 6 months of employment and another $1/hrincrease at one year of employment.
All offshifts also receive a $3/hrshift differential.
