Behncke Construction is looking for someone with construction experience who is ready to take the next step in their career. We’re looking for someone who already has hands-on experience in concrete construction and wants to continue building their skills with a company that’s been serving the Quad Cities since 1948.
This isn’t a job where you sit behind a desk. You’ll be outside working alongside an experienced crew repairing foundations, pouring and finishing concrete, installing drainage systems, operating equipment, and completing projects that make a real difference for homeowners and businesses.
The work is physical. You’ll go home tired some days. But it’s the kind of tired that comes from accomplishing something worthwhile. You’ll be part of a crew that takes pride in doing quality work and standing behind every project.
We work hard, but we also enjoy what we do. The crew jokes around, helps each other out, and pushes each other to get better. Around here, attitude matters. We run a respectful, hardworking crew and we do not tolerate constant lateness, laziness, drama, or bad attitudes. Everyone is expected to pull their weight and show up ready to work. If you like drama, excuses, and soft hands, we’re probably not the company for you.
Some previous concrete construction experience is required. You don’t need to know everything, but you should already be familiar with concrete work and be ready to continue learning.
