Branch Manager
You set the path. You are responsible for the team and the delivery of EXCELLENT and memorable customer service. You build relationships throughout the team and with customers in your region.

How you show up
You lead the branch in hitting their stated goals while following and coaching to the company's Core Values.
You are the problem-solver. Your team looks to you to resolve customer issues and complaints.
You understand you are part of the team that is B-Y, so you engage in monthly manager Traction meetings with your Regional Director, sharing input, insights, issues, etc.
You make sure you do all you can to ensure your team members go home at night in the same condition or better that they arrived in. You get to the bottom of any safety issues, accidents, violations, and you prepare appropriate reporting. You are proactive about safety issues that may arise.
You participate in maintaining 24/7 coverage on rotation.
You understand the value of great partnerships, and you make sure customers are taken care of.
You engage in new things, special projects, and unusual situations where creativity is required or as requested.
The day to day

You confidently lead, coach, mentor, and develop your team.
You run the branch operations as if you were the owner. You know about opening orders, invoicing, receivables, cash handling, cycle counts, inventory, etc.
You assist in all functions of counter and phone sales.
You work with the Territory Manager and other B-Y team members in quoting, special deliveries, pricing, and others to serve branch customers.
You maintain the appropriate inventory levels, mix, product, and special orders to best serve your customers.

A high-school diploma or GED.
Willingness to continuously learn and improve.
Excellent communication skills displaying listening, professionalism, tactfulness, and empathy.
HVAC technical and/or counter or warehouse experience.
The physical, mental, and emotional ability to consistently solve problems and allow your team to depend on you. You do not ask them to do something you would not do.
