Duties
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations via telehealth platforms to identify client needs and develop tailored treatment plans
- Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions grounded in applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
- Provide training and ongoing support to caregivers, families, and educational teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical records, notes, and documentation with accuracy and timeliness
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, conduct intake assessments, and facilitate seamless service delivery
- Educate clients and their families on behavioral health strategies, promoting skill acquisition and independence through patient-centered approaches
Experience
- Valid BCBA certification or eligibility for certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or equivalent credential in your region
- Proven experience in behavioral therapy, working directly with children or individuals with developmental disabilities
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), special education, and diagnostic evaluation techniques
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA
- Experience conducting patient assessments, data collection, and implementing behavior intervention plans in a telehealth environment is highly preferred
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with autism and other disabilities across diverse settings using remote communication tools
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients’ families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
