Here’s What You Will Do
- Play an essential support role in providing basic medical care, health monitoring and medication management for clients in recovery from substance use disorders.
- Maintain accurate nursing notes, med logs, incident reports, and progress notes.
- Document communication with providers, referrals, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with case managers, primary care providers, outpatient addiction treatment centers, and mental health professionals.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with clinical and recovery staff.
- Help maintain a structured, safe, and recovery-oriented environment.
- Active licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the Massachusetts Board of Registration (required).
- Experience with substance use disorder programs.
- Working knowledge of ethics and legal parameters of working with substance abuse clients (preferred).
- Hours are Monday-Friday, daytime and every other Saturday morning.
