Role
As Vice President of Children and Families, you will be a key member of BHN’s Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President. In this role, you will:
- Champion a vision for delivering person-centered, trauma-informed, and family-focused care
- Guide, mentor, and develop program leaders to ensure consistent quality, accountability, and innovation
- Oversee a broad portfolio of child, adolescent, and family behavioral health programs across the region
- Build strong partnerships with schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations to expand access and reduce barriers to care
- Ensure operational excellence, financial sustainability, and alignment with BHN’s mission and values
- Leverage data and outcomes to inform decision-making, strengthen programs, and support growth
- Promote a culture of collaboration, equity, and innovation in leadership and service delivery
- Master’s Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Health Care Administration, or related field (required)
- Independent Licensure (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, Psychologist) strongly preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in behavioral health, child welfare, or family services
- Demonstrated success managing multi-site or multi-program operations
- Strong knowledge of child and family behavioral health services, health insurance, and population health models
- Proven ability to build partnerships with community stakeholders, regulators, and funders
- Nonprofit leadership experience (2 years preferred)
- A collaborative, approachable leader with strong communication and strategic skills
