As a Professional Developmental Trainer (part-time) staff member of the Center for Education & Professional Excellence (The Center), you will provide high-quality, skills-based training to ensure staff and partners are certified and competent in life-saving emergency response practices. The Center has four institutes which collectively develop and deliver behavioral health education and regulatory training to staff and community partners.

Shift: Up to 5 hours a week during normal business hours of 8am-4pm (First and 3rd week and 2nd and 4th week for training)

What You’ll Do
- Provides mandated and ongoing staff professional development for staff and community partners, including certification, recertification and remediation training as needed.
- Facilitates in-person, virtual, and/or hybrid training sessions using approved curricula, learning materials, and instructional strategies.
- Adapts training delivery to meet the needs of diverse audiences with varying learning styles, roles and levels of experience.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of assigned training content, organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices related to adult learning and workforce development.
- Supports compliance with organization policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to health and safety.
- Collaborates with the Center team to support ongoing training initiatives as deemed necessary and appropriate.
- Travels to designated training sites as required including all BHN locations.
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Experience in public speaking Infront of large groups (required)
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to community locations.
