- Coordinate all aspects of pre-employment and onboarding, ensuring required documentation, credentials, and compliance requirements are completed before each new employee starts.
- Serve as a key point of contact for applicants and new employees, providing timely guidance regarding hiring status, orientation schedules, onboarding requirements, and required documentation.
- Support recruitment through phone screens, reference checks, interview scheduling, career fairs, community outreach, and candidate follow-up.
- Maintain accurate HR, applicant tracking, and onboarding records while supporting audits, document management, orientation logistics, and additional Human Resources initiatives.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field preferred
- Prior experience in an HR support role required, with working knowledge of HR practices, recruitment, onboarding, and confidentiality requirements
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and customer service skills with the ability to work effectively with applicants, employees, managers, and community partners
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, HRIS, applicant tracking, and onboarding systems; reliable transportation is required for statewide recruitment events and organizational functions
