What You'll Do
As a BCBA, you will oversee individualized ABA programming and provide clinical leadership to ensure positive outcomes for clients and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and comprehensive behavioral evaluations
- Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Analyze treatment data and make clinical recommendations based on outcomes
- Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
- Provide caregiver and parent training to support skill generalization
- Complete treatment authorizations, progress reports, and clinical documentation
- Collaborate with families, educators, and interdisciplinary providers
- Ensure compliance with BACB ethics requirements and payer guidelines
- Participate in case reviews, team meetings, and professional development initiatives
Required
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or related field
- Maryland Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) or eligibility for licensure
- Experience providing ABA therapy services for children with autism
- Experience supervising RBTs and implementing evidence-based treatment
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Clinic-based ABA experience
- Experience with insurance-funded ABA services
- Experience conducting parent training
- Interest in future leadership and mentorship opportunities
