We are seeking a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team on a part-time basis (with some per-diem hours), with strong potential to grow into a full-time role as our program expands.
Position Overview
The Occupational Therapist will work with infants and young children (mostly 0-3, some 3-10 ages) with autism, developmental delays, and/or other needs to support development across fine motor, sensory, self-care, feeding, and functional skills. Services are provided in natural environments including homes, community settings, and our center-based program.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of motor, sensory, and adaptive functioning
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each child’s needs
- Provide evidence-based interventions including: 1) Sensory integration strategies, 2) Fine motor and hand skill development 3) Adaptive/self-care training (feeding, dressing, etc.)
- Collaborate with BCBAs, behavior technicians, and families to ensure coordinated care
- Provide parent coaching and education to support skill generalization
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation and reports
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative clinical environment
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program
- Active California OT license (BOT) in good standing
- Completion of Level I and Level II fieldwork
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with infants/toddlers (0–3) or early intervention
- Strong understanding of sensory processing and early childhood development including fine and gross motor, sensory, and feeding
- Energetic, detail-oriented, and compassionate
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy relevant to pediatric occupational therapy
- Bilingual in Spanish and/or Armenian (preferred)
Requirements
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOJ/FBI background clearance
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Up-to-date immunizations (TDap, MMR, Varicella, Hep B, etc.) and negative TB test
- Physical ability to sit on the floor, kneel, bend, lift, and actively engage with young children

Note: This is a part-time role with a guaranteed minimum caseload, with the opportunity to pick up additional hours on a per diem (as-needed) basis depending on client demand, evaluations, and coverage needs. Hours are expected to grow over time with program expansion.
