We are currently hiring an Office Administratorto help support the teamby managing the day-to-day at our new clinic in Artesia.This role will interactfrequentlywith staff, clients, and their respective families.
Weprovide quality and individualized services based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to children and teens with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), learning disabilities, and developmental delays.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for openingand closingthe clinic
- Uses various computer applications, such as database management and word processing
- Professionally answers telephones, takes client intakes, answers employee questions, completes employee requests, and redirects callers toappropriate partieswhen necessary
- Schedules appointments using software
- Corresponds with insurance payorsand/orthird partiesvia written or verbal communication
- Inputs client authorizations into spreadsheets and software
- Manages and analyzes email inbox, prioritizes urgent requests, and responds in a professional andtimelymanner
- Maintains working knowledge of current company functions, services hierarchy, protocol, procedures, and software
- Maintains working knowledge of California laws surrounding lunches, breaks, and travel
- Regularly updates clinical teams and pertinent parties with developments
- Performs regular maintenance and general upkeep ofthe premises
- Completes tasks as assigned by management
Skills and Qualifications
- Required:
- Bilingual - Spanish
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills
- Must be able to manage time and prioritize effectively
- Ability to provide evidence of negativetuberculosistest
- Ability to pass FBI and DOJ Live Scan background check
- Consistent and reliable transportation
- Preferred:
- Experienceworkingwithor aroundindividualswith learning ordevelopmentdisabilities
- Prior administrative experience
