Frontline Therapist/Registered Behavior Technician
Job Title: Front Line Therapist/RBT
Reports To: Clinical Supervisors and Senior Staff
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Job Overview: ABA provider for individuals with Autism; Responsible for direct 1:1 therapy, Treatment Integrity, and support.

Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 direct therapy using Applied Behavior Analysis techniques and principals
• Upload BACB ethical guidelines by providing first-rate services
• Implement and maintain knowledge of programs, procedures, and Behavior Intervention Plans
• All frontline employees MUST obtain RBT Certification within their first 45 business days of employment
• Participate in team meetings
• Meticulously collect data based on treatment plans designed by BCBA
• Safeguard PHI by abiding by HIPAA/FERPA/DFPS protocols and by maintaining confidentiality
• Teach and facilitate essential skills such as: functional communication, social skills, adaptive skills, and more
• Maintain professional conduct/boundaries with clients, families, and staff
• Assist other staff by covering clients during lunch periods
• Adhere to employer work practices
• Cultivate and preserve work culture and morale by engaging in collaborative activities with leadership and team-members alike
• Perform all other duties as assigned
**Physical demands of clinical staff fall within a Medium Classification. This includes: exerting 20-50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 lbs. of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work according to the Dictionary of Occupational Titles.
Essential Physical Demands include, but are not limited to:
• Lift twenty (20) lbs.
• Move, lift, or transfer clients
• Stand for extended periods
• Bend, kneel, crouch, walk, and run
• Use fine motor skills and dexterity in both hands, grasping, and holding

Qualifications:
• At least 18 years of age or older
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work through interruptions, manage multiple priorities and efficiently navigate stressful situations
• Organized, with impeccable attention to detail
• Exemplary client-engagement
• Strong ability to remain calm and neutral when implementing de-escalation strategies
• Have a copious amount of enthusiasm and eagerness to learn
• Available for opening and/or closing shifts, 1-2 times per week
Experience:
• Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis preferred, but not required
