Human Resources Coordinator
A little about us: Behavior Matters is Headquartered in Eagle River, AK; we are an ABA company dedicated to individuals with social, communication, and behavioral challenges. Our fantastic team of superheroes partners with each family to develop and implement an individualized therapeutic plan for their child to support them with the skills needed to engage in everyday interactions.
We seek an HR Coordinator who models our core values: collaboration, integrity, and accountability. Leading the team with full-cycle recruitment support, sourcing candidates, scheduling, and maintaining personnel-related records (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates, etc.) in both paper and the database to ensure all employment requirements are met.
- Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests and assist.
- Direct HR-related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person on the team.
- Perform orientations, onboarding, Offboarding, and update records with new hires (administrative tasking.)
- Scheduling, ensuring all team members comply with local and federal regulations.
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity as needed.
- Support other HR-related functions as assigned.
Preferred Requirements of the Position;
- Two years of experience as an HR Coordinator / Administrator / Assistant preferred.
- Effective HR administration and people management skills.
- Complete understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly capable in email, Google Workspace, and related business and communication tools.
- Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity as needed.
