Location: Lincoln, NE

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (No weekends, no late nights)

At Behavior Matters, being a BCBA means more than just logging billable hours. Here, you are a clinical leader, a mentor, and a vital collaborator. Because we are BCBA-owned and operated, we understand the field from your perspective. Your voice matters, your caseload is strictly protected, and your professional growth is our priority.

Our Vision for Lincoln, NE

Raising a child with special needs can be incredibly isolating for both parents and children. We are expanding into Lincoln to change that.

Our dream is to create a vibrant preschool and clinic space where children receive high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy within a classroom setting, with the ultimate goal of helping them participate fully without needing 1-on-1 support. We also plan to train our preschool teachers and aides to become certified RBTs and BCBAs, ensuring every child is surrounded by expertise and understanding.

Note on our Launch Timeline: To launch our Lincoln footprint, we will begin with home-based services for the first 4-6 months while we finalize our permanent clinic and preschool location. Once open, you will transition to a centralized clinic setting alongside your team—meaning no long drives or home-scheduling stress long-term!

Role & Responsibilities

As a BCBA on our team, you will look forward to a manageable, small caseload and a supportive structure that allows you to provide exceptional care.

  • Lead & Mentor: Manage, guide, and support a dedicated team of RBTs, fostering a collaborative team culture.
  • Clinical Oversight: Lead treatment planning, provide direct supervision, guide skill acquisition, and dynamically adjust programming based on ongoing data.
  • Collaborative Care: Conduct parent training, report writing, and team meetings (with remote flexibility for administrative tasks during our launch phase).
  • Community Building: Help shape the environment of our future preschool, ensuring clinical excellence integrates seamlessly into a classroom setting.

Compensation & Perks

We offer highly competitive compensation packages tailored to your preferences, alongside top-tier benefits:

  • Salaried: $87,000 – $99,000 / year (based on experience and availability)
  • Financial Growth: Annual performance reviews with merit increase opportunities, plus referral bonuses.
  • Work-Life Balance: Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Sick Days.
  • Health & Retirement: 50% of employee health insurance premium covered, plus a 401(k) with company support.
  • Travel Support: Paid drive time (especially beneficial during our initial 6-month home-based phase).
  • Professional Development: Unlimited CEUs via Rethink and CASP.
  • Robust Resources: Full assessment library, robust curriculum tools, and advanced digital platforms.

Qualifications

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®) certification in good standing.
  • Strong leadership skills and a passion for mentoring RBTs.
  • A desire to build a true community for families and break the cycle of isolation.
  • Flexibility to work in a home-based environment for the first 4-6 months during our transition into a permanent clinic/preschool facility.
  • Able to pass a background check and provide favorable references
  • CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain within 15 days
