What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Behavior Technician position at Behavior 101?
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The Behavior Technician will work with individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
- Collect data on client behavior during sessions
- Assist in the development of individualized treatment goals
- Provide feedback to BCBA regarding client progress
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency in implementing interventions
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is a plus
Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and implement strategies effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn and receive ongoing training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
Note: This position may require some evening or weekend availability based on client needs.

Must be Fluent in English
