Secretary / Legal Assistant Position Overview
Position Summary
Our firm is seeking a highly organized and proactive Secretary / Legal Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive support to multiple attorneys who specialize in Estate Planning, Elder Law, Estate Administration, Special Needs Planning, and Guardianship.
Key Responsibilities
· Answering phones and handling incoming calls in a professional manner
· Scheduling appointments and coordinating conference calls for attorneys
· Preparing letters and other correspondence as needed
· Maintaining calendars for attorneys to ensure efficient time management and
organization
· Supporting attorneys in staying organized and prepared for their daily tasks
Candidate Qualifications
· Demonstrated working knowledge of customer service principles
· Strong computer skills and proficiency with relevant software
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
· Effective collaboration skills as part of a team
· Highly organized, proactive, and capable of multitasking efficiently
Additional Duties
· Light coordination of marketing efforts, such as scheduling and maintaining
connections with referral sources
· Working closely with attorneys and the Law Firm Administrator to support marketing
initiatives
