Infant 1 Assistant Teacher
Beginnings Early Learning Alliance (BELA) – Hastings, NE
Beginnings Early Learning Alliance is looking for a caring, dependable Infant Assistant Teacher to join our team. This position works with infants ages 6 weeks to approximately 10 months, helping provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn and grow.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, responsive care for infants throughout the day.
- Assist with feeding, diapering, naps, and daily routines.
- Maintain active supervision and ensure children's safety at all times.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
- Help maintain a clean, organized classroom.
- Follow all licensing regulations and BELA policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Dependable and punctual.
- Patient, nurturing, and team-oriented.
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds and work on the floor with children.
- Early childhood experience is preferred but not required.
- Must meet Nebraska childcare licensing requirements.
