The Role
We’re looking for a motivated, hands-on Field Technician to help deploy, maintain, and repair advanced robotic beekeeping systems. You’ll work primarily outdoors — in orchards, fields, and bee pastures — ensuring our technology operates efficiently and reliably.

Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on robotic hives and related agri-tech systems
- Apply engineering change orders (ECOs) and upgrades in the field
- Assist with system installations and setup at agricultural sites
- Use a mobile app and ticketing system to manage and report work
- Assemble and adjust electrical and mechanical components
- Communicate effectively with engineers and team members
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized equipment and work areas
- Work mainly in Merced, CA, with occasional travel (2–4 weeks at a time)
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- 3 years of experience as a field technician, installer, or mechanic
- Hands-on skills in electronics, mechanics, or equipment repair
- Comfortable using digital tools (apps, reporting systems, ticketing platforms)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Able to work independently outdoors in variable conditions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Based in or near Merced, CA, with flexibility to travel when needed
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with robotics, automation, or agri-tech systems
- Familiarity with mechanical/electronic system installation or repair
- Background in agricultural or beekeeping environments
- Experience in fast-paced field operations

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 50 per week
