- Maintains an organized and logical yard operation.
- Manages the logistics of trucks coming in and out; avoiding congestion.
- Assists with the loading and unloading of trucks using proper operating equipment.
- Monitors loading of materials to ensure safe transfer to job sites.
- Monitors inventory and notifies the company when replenishment is needed.
- Maintains a clean yard: picks up all tools, equipment, trash, places material in proper and dedicated spaces, etc. to comply with company cleanliness standards and eliminate potential hazards.
- May move equipment to various areas on the yard.
- Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
- Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Brings problems to the attention of the company.
- Flexible to work as needed.
