- Safely operates trucks of various sizes and weights in transporting dirt, various equipment, materials and supplies to and from job sites.
- Loads and unloads cargo, dirt, equipment, materials and supplies.
- Reads and follows plans, material lists and guidelines and applies necessary timelines.
- Keeps accurate and legible daily logs.
- Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refers defects or repairs to the foreman; cleans equipment.
- Inspects truck before and after trips.
- Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
- Will also perform other duties other than truck driving.
