Part time Kitchen Prep/Cook – Assisted Living Facility
We are looking for a dependable and motivated Kitchen Prep/Cook to join our team at Beehive Homes Assisted Living of Knoxville. This position is responsible for preparing daily meals for residents, ensuring a clean and organized kitchen, and prepping ingredients for the evening shift. Must be 18 to apply.
Schedule:
- Day shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
- Includes meal prep for second-shift dinner service
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to the planned menu and resident dietary needs
- Assist with food prep for the evening shift (chopping, portioning, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen and caregiving staff
Qualifications:
- Previous cooking or food prep experience preferred (healthcare or assisted living a plus)
- Ability to follow menus, recipes, and dietary restrictions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Job Type: Part-time
