Position Summary
We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat residents to restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit physical disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents’ physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide physical therapy treatments including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities.
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team on resident goals and discharge planning.
- Supervise and direct Physical Therapy Assistants as applicable.
- Perform other duties as assigned by facility management.
Qualifications
- Doctorate or master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current PT license in Tennessee.
- Long-term care/skilled nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in working with older adults.
