Job Summary:

Indigo Manor Nursing and Rehab is seeking a compassionate and skilled Wound Care Nurse to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality wound care services to our residents, promoting recovery, and improving overall health outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized wound care treatment plans for residents with complex wounds
• Conduct wound evaluations, take accurate measurements, and document comprehensive notes
• Develop and maintain effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare teams
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
• Educate residents and families on wound care techniques, prevention strategies, and self-care practices
• Provide guidance and support to other healthcare staff on wound care best practices
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of wound care treatments, progress, and outcomes
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure in the state of Florida
• Minimum 0 years of experience in wound care or related field
• BLS certification
• Strong understanding of wound care principles, practices, and regulations
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
