Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in areas such as language, social skills, and motor skills.
- Provide attentive care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Engage children in interactive activities that encourage creativity, exploration, and problem-solving.
- Monitor children's behavior and implement effective behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, daily activities, and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of all children.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment conducive to learning.
Experience
- Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred; experience as a nanny or in toddler care is a plus.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential.
- Familiarity with special education techniques or behavior management strategies is beneficial.
- Strong caregiving skills with an emphasis on nurturing infants and toddlers.
