The post holder will play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient running of outpatient services by delivering high‑quality administrative support. Working at the heart of the patient pathway, they will manage a variety of tasks that ensure outpatient bookings are accurate, timely, and aligned with Government Access Targets.
A central part of the role involves using the electronic Referral System (eRS) to coordinate clinic schedules and maintain clear, well‑organised appointment processes. The post holder will be responsible for collecting, entering, and updating essential patient data within computerised systems, ensuring that all information is accurate, complete, and up to date.
This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a commitment to providing a reliable and efficient service that supports both patients and clinical teams.

- Previous administrative/clerical experience
- Knowledge of patient record systems/databases with proven experience
- Excellent keyboard and IT skills, including experience of maintaining and administering databases

- Dependable, with a flexible attitude to work and the ability to adapt to service needs
