**Job Description:**
As the Restaurant Manager, you will be the driving force behind the daily operations of our take-out restaurant. You will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive top-notch service and that our food maintains the high-quality standards we're known for. Your role will include overseeing staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a welcoming and efficient environment for both customers and employees.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of cooks, cashiers, and delivery drivers. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.
- Customer Service: Ensure every customer has a satisfying experience, from the moment they place their order to the time they receive their food. Address any customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
- Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, food preparation, and delivery logistics. Ensure the restaurant is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Inventory and Supply Chain: Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed. Work with suppliers to ensure we have the freshest ingredients and the best deals.
- Marketing and Community Engagement: Build relationships within the community to enhance our brand presence.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a restaurant manager or in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A passion for Soul Food and a deep understanding of Southern cuisine.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-first mindset.
- Knowledge of the Bronx community and a commitment to serving its residents.
