The Becklar Network Engineer III is a senior technical leader responsible for architecting, securing, and evolving the organization’s global network infrastructure. This role drives strategic design decisions, ensures resiliency and scalability, and serves as a subject matter expert across networking, connectivity, and network security domains.
Job Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee enterprise-wide network designs supporting high availability, redundancy, and scalability.
- Lead complex network transformations including data center, cloud, and M&A integrations.
- Establish network security architecture aligned with best practice and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the escalation point for critical network incidents and lead root cause analysis.
- Define network standards, reference architectures, and long-term roadmaps.
- Partner with executive leadership on infrastructure strategy, risk management, and investment planning.
- Mentor and develop junior team members.
- Evaluate and select vendors, technologies, and service providers.
- Enterprise network architecture and strategy

- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8 years of progressive enterprise network engineering experience
- Expert-level knowledge of routing, switching, firewalling, and network security
- Proven ability to design and operate mission-critical networks
- Expert-level experience architecting large-scale AWS network environments, including multi-account landing zones, Transit Gateway at scale, advanced routing, resiliency patterns, and integration with security tooling.
- Familiarity with networking, virtualization, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCIE, PCNSC, ACSX, or equivalent).
- Experience in regulated environments (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA)
- Experience with network automation and infrastructure-as-code
