POSITION OVERVIEW
Our client is seeking a Project Manager to lead projects from early planning through completion. This individual will take ownership of preconstruction efforts, oversee financial performance, and partner closely with field leadership to ensure successful execution.
This role requires someone who can operate independently, make informed decisions, and maintain strong client relationships while balancing schedule, cost, and quality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders
- Lead estimating efforts from conceptual phases through final construction documents
- Oversee the bidding process and subcontractor selection
- Develop preliminary project schedules and collaborate with field teams on detailed timelines
- Negotiate and manage subcontract agreements
- Monitor project budgets and work with field leadership to keep projects on track financially
- Ensure compliance with insurance, bonding, and contractual requirements
- Maintain positive relationships with subcontractors and assist in resolving issues when needed
- Coordinate with internal teams to support project execution
- Manage project closeout processes to ensure timely and complete delivery
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support project and client goals
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5–10 years of experience in construction project management
- Strong understanding of construction methods, project financials, and industry best practices
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive project success
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to think critically and apply effective problem-solving strategies
