Duties
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of building systems including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), electrical, low voltage, and high voltage systems.
- Supervise maintenance staff and external contractors to ensure timely completion of repairs and upgrades.
- Develop and manage maintenance schedules
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement; implement corrective actions promptly.
- Manage budgets for maintenance activities, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to electrical work, high voltage systems, and industrial maintenance procedures.
- Lead facility upgrades or renovations by planning project timelines, supervising contractors, and ensuring adherence to specifications.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, schematics updates, and safety compliance documentation.
Skills
- Strong management skills with proven experience supervising technical teams in facilities or industrial environments.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical wiring (including low voltage and high voltage), HVAC systems, and schematics interpretation.
- Proficiency with software for maintenance management and tracking work orders efficiently.
- Solid understanding of facilities management principles including safety protocols for electrical work and industrial maintenance standards.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong leadership qualities with effective communication skills in English; capable of supervising diverse teams.
- Knowledge of manufacturing environments and experience managing large-scale maintenance projects in industrial settings.
