Beck 'N Call is a dedicated non-medical home care agency serving primarily a geriatric population within Stroudsburg and the surrounding area. Our services focus on enhancing quality of life through compassionate assistance with daily activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, medication reminders, and transportation support.
Must have a valid Driver's License , insured vehicle and ability to see multiple clients during shift. If hired, hiring process is immediate (within a few days of interview) Looking for availability Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9am-3:00p **Additional hours if desired
Job Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, respecting dietary restrictions.
- Provide medication reminders
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Support clients with transportation for medical appointments, errands, or social activities.
- Observe and report any changes in health status or behavior to appropriate healthcare professionals.
Required:
- Prior experience in caregiving or home health services is preferred; experience with elderly population
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect compassionately with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of basic health and safety protocols relevant to home care settings.
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and instructions
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license are desirable for assisting with outings and appointments.
