Beck N Call is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Worker to provide essential support and assistance to individuals with diverse needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for a senior adult , through personalized care, empathy, and professionalism. This role involves working closely with individuals in a home care settings, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, patience, and a proactive approach to caregiving.
Duties
- Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Follow care plans and medical guidelines while maintaining HIPAA compliance to protect patient privacy.
- Assist with nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and assist with meal consumption to ensure proper nutrition.
- Document care activities accurately using Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) systems and communicate effectively with Beck N Call regarding patient progress or concerns.
- Provide transportation for appointments or errands by driving safely and responsibly while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning tasks and infection control practices aligned with health standards.
Experience
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated proficiency in assisting with ADLs, medication reminders, and vital signs monitoring.
- Experience working with people
