We are seeking a visionary leader to chair our Medical Audit Committee, ensure quality standards are upheld, and drive clinical excellence. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate with community medical providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Medical Leadership: Chair the Medical Audit Committee, review and approve clinical protocols, policies, procedures, and the medical disaster plan annually.
- Community Engagement: Consult with community medical providers to address patient care issues.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise clinical services provided by professional and paraprofessional staff.
- On-Call Services: Provide on-call services to support patient care needs.
- Quality Improvement: Lead quality improvement initiatives, including patient complaints, infection control, peer review, and chart audits.
- Referral Management: Oversee referrals to external healthcare facilities, ensuring appropriateness, quality, and continuity of care.
- Clinical Resource: Serve as a resource and leader for all clinical staff, fostering collaboration and excellence.
- Hiring and Evaluation: Participate in screening, interviewing, credential evaluation, and hiring of healthcare providers.
Clinical Duties:
- Patient Care: Deliver evidence-based care, including sick call, chronic care, history and physicals, and emergency care.
- Infirmary Visits: Conduct daily infirmary visits and document encounters as assigned.
- On-Call Services: Provide on-call services as needed, ensuring continuity of care.
- Medication Management: Adhere to the approved formulary and document requests for non-formulary medications as necessary.
