Job Description:
Fountain Correctional Facility is seeking a skilled Licensed Behavioral Health Professional to join our team. As a member of our multidisciplinary clinical team, you will be responsible for providing individual and group therapeutic interventions as appropriate.
You will conduct psychosocial assessments and mental health intake evaluations, perform risk assessment and intervention, and provide behavioral health consultation to members of the clinical team and correctional personnel as directed.
Your duties will also include crisis intervention and de-escalation, supporting and coordinating care coordination efforts for patients returning to the community requiring ongoing behavioral health services.
You will initiate, complete, and maintain patient treatment plans, participate in team meetings, and assist in planning and implementing program goals and objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, or related field.
- Unrestricted, current license in the state of practice (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, LMSW, or Psychologist).
- Counseling experience in a correctional setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required.
