Job Description
The Inside Sales Specialist coordinates and administers customer relations activities, including customer disputes, special discounts, and communications with the outside sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Confers with sales managers and customers to determine proper pricing for large orders and special products.
- Receives escalated customer complaints and requests for back charges beyond sales representative approval levels.
- Evaluates complaints and back charges, recommends and/or determines appropriate action using authorized discretion in the final resolution.
- Composes written communication in response to dealer complaints.
- Maintains contact with customers and outside sales throughout dispute.
- Reviews and authorizes special discount requests from customer service and sales representatives.
- Compiles and analyzes data used by sales, such as special discounts.
- Develops procedures for sales operations and ensures compliance by sales representatives.
- Formulates procedures for record retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal.
- Maximizes productivity of sales team through proficient use of software applications.
- Trains new sales representatives in CRM tools.
- Creates queries of sales data and develops standard and ad hoc reports.
- Maintains proper documentation for tax liability and audits.
- Evaluates and disperses leads from various resources.
