What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Designer position at beBee Careers?
We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer to fill a contract position in Lynn, MA for 6 months.
The hourly rate is between $40-$50, and it may be negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
This role involves working with information and technology subject to ITAR and EAR regulations, which may limit access to certain technologies.
To succeed in this position, you will need:
- Familiarity with NX CAD software and mechanical drawing interpretation.
- Experience in general manufacturing, including EDM, milling, turning, and welding.
- Knowledge of CAD software, Excel, PPT, Minitab, and Python.
A degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with a minimum of 1-5 years of experience in industrial equipment, automotive, pumps, and bearings.
