Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and overseeing the warehouse activities of each retail store, supervising warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators, as well as supporting the Receiving Supervisor in managing the daily freight schedule.
Main Accountabilities
- Warehouse Operations: Responsible for the warehouse as it pertains to Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and staging of products.
- Maintenance and Safety: Responsible for maintaining warehouse equipment and ensuring a safe and clean workplace for employees, adhering to OSHA regulations.
- Personnel Management: Supervises warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators.
Requirements
- Experience and Education: 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience required, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Skills and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating, and follow-up skills; ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments.
