Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Library Media Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for maintaining the library and the IGFA's art and artifact assets.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Library Science or a related field and strong computer skills with experience in database platforms.
You will also have excellent writing, researching, and editing skills, as well as a strong eye for design and visual communication.
In this role, you will be responsible for updating, organizing, and maintaining the library and the library database, including data integrity, backup procedures, and user access controls.
You will also help patrons find materials and conduct research, work with senior staff and trustees to compile and chronicle key IGFA achievements, and develop a digital archive of the library's non-book assets.
Furthermore, you will create engaging and informative digital content for online dissemination to the angling community, assist the Development team with online auctions, and attend the IGFA International Auction annually.
